Block Party: NBA All Star 2009

Plans for Sunday evening were to go and have fun at Golfland. On our way there, we were listening to the ready about a "Block Party" they had for the All Star 2009. My husband said "lets go and check it out". It had been a couple of months I hadn't been to Downtown Phoenix so we went. I am glad we went! We had so much fun! We saw a couple of basketball players and players who are in hall of fame. It was really fun. Check out some of the pictures.

Here was Kevin Rudolf playing a couple of songs!

This game was fun. Its a game to see how high you can jump. As you can see in the background they had how high the players can jump. I think the highest one was 12-6. Well, they were impressed with my husband! Man, he can jump! Well he is 6'1, but he jumped pretty high.

Here is my little brother. He impressed everyone also. He jumped high! He had so much fun! Im glad he liked it!

Here are some pictures of my husband jumping. Man, he had fun! We were laughing because I kept telling him, be careful don't get a cramp in your leg! We haven't exercised in a long time so I was worried he would get hurt if he tried to hard! :) Look at peoples face in the pictures, I think they were impressed!

They got some prizes for doing a good job.

They were interviewing Bill Russell live. It was a lot of fun!

I won this game! We had to shoot the ball from the free throw, and guess who made it! Yes, me! We tried this game twice, but I only won 1. I won a ticket to the Jam Session that will be on Monday. I think we are going!

My husband : size 13!

Here, I compared my foot to Stoudemire's!

I didn't realize Tony Parker and my husband are the same height!

We went to Subway, bought our subs and ate in front of the U.S Airways Center. We watched the game on the big screen. Did you see us on t.v?

There were people selling tickets for $300, $400! I would've bought 3, but I only had $8 in my pocket! hahahaha.... I hope you enjoyed the pictures. It was a lot of fun! Pictures coming soon of the All Star Jam Session.
